Memorial and Honor Gifts

Celebrate someone special in your life with a gift in his or her honor that supports our mission. An honor gift is an especially lovely gesture that brings new meaning to anniversaries, birthdays or holidays. A memorial gift is a comforting way to support a grieving family, as your gift brings hope and help to someone in need.

When a Memorial or Honor gift is received, a card or letter is sent to the donor to acknowledge the gift, as well as to any person the donor indicates should receive an acknowledgment. This may include the family of the deceased or the person being honored. The amount of the gift is not revealed.

Memorial Funeral Gifts
If you are planning for funeral memorial gifts to Catholic Charities in lieu of flowers, it is suggested that the obituary notice includes this phrase: “The family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri, 424 E. Monastery St., Springfield, MO 65807.”
