Thank you, SEAS School!

I went to see some of the children at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School this morning to thank them for their donation to LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home last week. The school held a baby shower for LifeHouse as part of Catholic Schools Week. They filled our hallways with enough diapers and wipes to supply our new moms for several months! And if that wasn't enough, their teachers spent an evening together making blankets for us. It took two vans to bring everything to us! We are all are overwhelmed

We came to John with grant funds to purchase a vehicle for LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home to transport our women and babies to appointments. Through a donation to LifeHouse, John made it possible for us to upgrade our purchase to a 2017 Nissan Rogue. He is pictured here with CCSOMO Executive Director Maura Taylor and Michele Marsh, Director of LifeHouse.

Four months ago we were feverishly getting the LifeHouse building ready to open. It took many hands and lots of hours for us to prepare the home and be ready to open our doors, but now we are seeing the fruits of our labor!
